OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. For the hunters, whitetail deer, turkey, quail, and most of the typical South Mississippi small game have been sighted in this location. The powerline area would make a good shooting lane. The one-acre, spring fed pond is an excellent watering source for the wildlife and provides a great spot to wet a hook and enjoy a little fishing. There are also nice places near the cottage to have a vegetable garden.

As an added bonus, the De Soto National Forest is just seven miles east of this listing. With more than 518,000 acres of forestland, the De Soto National Forest has horseback riding trails, hiking trails, hunting areas, and other opportunities for outdoor recreation.
