Land owners in the Deep South must be vigilant when it comes to invasive species. Some of these plants may look pretty, but cause serious, negative impacts on the native natural landscape. Most folks are familiar with some types of invasive plants, such as kudzu, popcorn trees, and cogon grass, but may not know how harmful to our environment some of the others can be. This article addresses 10 invasive plant species and provides recommendations on how to control each.
