A four-page timber sale prospectus is sent to more than 100 timber companies and buyers. Competitive sealed bids are opened in our attorney's office located here in Ellisville, Mississippi. Our timber deed helps to protect our clients' valued interests, as we proceed working with timber companies and harvesting crews to ensure that all residual timber, roads, and fences are fully protected and safe from harm. Additionally, we work with local, state, and governmental entities in obtaining monies to help offset site preparation and reforestation expenses.
Depending upon the quality, quantity, and accessibility of timber; the number of bidders may range anywhere from 5 to 10 with the high bid ranging from 20% to 50+% over the low bid.
